‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victoria Catches Billy And Phyllis Again – Freaks On Billy At Press Conference

‘The Young and The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers from a new CBS promo video show more heat between Phyllis Abbott [Gina Tognoni] and Billy Abbott [Jason Thompson] and that Victoria Newman [Amelia Heinle] is headed for a breakdown over their growing closeness.

Remember last week at the GCAC when Victoria came to Billy’s room and found Phyllis there and Billy was pulling up his pants and zipping up? Victoria didn’t like that, but things are going to get worse in coming days.

Jack Abbott [Peter Bergman] and Phyllis will have a big blowup and Phyllis turns to Billy for comfort. The new CBS Y&R promo shows them together at Billy’s new house – the Chancellor mansion – and he’s holding an upset Phyllis when Victoria walks in on them.

Is this too much for Victoria to take? Granted she split with Billy, but she didn’t expect him to be getting this close to his brother’s wife. Plus, Victor Newman [Eric Braeden] has made is clear he’s done with Victoria even though she pleaded with him to forgive her.

All of that combined with Victor’s guilty verdict this week will send Victoria reeling. And when she goes to the father of her children for comfort, she finds Billy comforting Phyllis instead. This will be just too much for Victoria to handle.

Later this week, Victoria will be surrounded by press asking her about Victor’s sentence and she’ll snap. The spoilers video shows Victoria attacking Billy in front of the media – and all the cameras – she calls him “a liar and a thief” and slaps his face.

That has to be the last straw for Billy. Victoria always chooses her dad over him – and seems to judge Billy by much harsher standards. It’s true that Billy is not a model of ethical behavior, but he sees himself as no worse than Victor whom Victoria remains loyal to.

Is that slap in the face and public humiliation the straw that breaks Billy’s love for Victoria for good? Will Billy now need comforting and turns to Phyllis? With Jack ranting at Phyllis and Victoria ranting at Billy, we may see the stage set for the long-simmering “Philly” romance.
