“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, February 9, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) will realize that Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) is dead. At Fairview, Nick fears that Sage (Kelly Sullivan) may be responsible. Nearby, Sage notices blood on Patty’s (Stacy Haiduk) sweater. She asks if Dr. Anderson hurt her, but Patty is in her own little world.
As Sage leaves Patty’s room, she sees Nick and Sharon. She tells them about Patty’s blood, but they tell her it’s Dr. Anderson’s and she’s dead. Paul (Doug Davidson) and Dylan (Steve Burton) come on the scene. Sharon gives them updates on the real reason Sage was staying at Fairview. Nick chimes in, too. Dylan and Paul learn about Nick’s past with Dr. Anderson.
When Paul hears that Patty is to blame for Dr. Anderson’s death, he feels guilty that he did nothing to help Patty. He knew Patty was terrified and he should’ve intervened. Back in Patty’s room, she has a flashback of what happened in Dr. Anderson’s office. Patty confronts Dr. Anderson about stealing Sage’s baby and giving it to Sharon. She threatens to tell Sage and brings up the idea of a DNA test to prove it.
Dr. Anderson isn’t pleased by Patty’s notion. She grabs a syringe and admits that she stole the child to hurt Nick before she fell for him again. As Dr. Anderson moves in with the syringe, Patty wrestles it away from her. She picks up a knife or letter opener and stabs Dr. Anderson in the back.
The flashback ends and Paul comes to chat with Patty. He asks if Dr. Anderson tried to hurt Patty, but she’s too out of it to reply. As Paul’s eyes fill with tears, he apologizes to Patty and says she must’ve done this for a reason. Patty sings, “Hush little baby; don’t say a word.” Paul feels like he failed Patty.
Sage lets Dylan know that Dr. Anderson was hiding even more secrets. Paul joins them and Dylan states that they need to keep investigating. Meanwhile, Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) says he’ll allow Noah (Robert Adamson) to team up with him to bring down Victor (Eric Braeden). The partnership is on, but Noah insists that he doesn’t want Summer (Hunter King) tangled up in all of this.
At Newman Enterprises, Victor shows up and finds Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) with Adam (Justin Hartley). Victor asks Chelsea to step out and she replies that she knows about Luca’s blackmail. Victor isn’t happy, but Adam says he had no choice but to clue Chelsea in. Chelsea heads home and Adam tries to explain everything to Victor.
Adam states that Noah is leaving the country, which means Luca is losing his leverage. Victor doesn’t seem convinced. Adam shouts that Victor should have told him about Noah’s involvement in Billy’s (Jason Thompson) accident. It’s not Adam’s fault he was blindsided.

Luca arrives and gloats about gaining the upper hand. Victor eventually decides he’s had enough and he grabs Luca. Luca smugly replies that Victor can’t touch him. He has files on Noah’s accident and Victor’s business with Marco (Peter Bergman). One wrong move and Luca can take Victor down. Victor throws Luca out and says this isn’t over.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers indicate that Chelsea will tell Marisa (Sofia Pernas) about being in on Noah’s secret. At Top of the Tower, Marisa learns that Chelsea got the news from Adam. Noah walks over and Chelsea urges him to leave the country ASAP. Noah doesn’t want to, but Marisa says she’ll accompany him. She announces that she’s done with Luca and Noah is the one she really wants. They share a passionate kiss.
Later, Chelsea and Adam talk about where they stand. Adam makes it clear that he’s not transforming into Victor. Chelsea seems cautious, but she says she’ll stick around if Adam will continue to be honest with her. Unfortunately, Y&R rumors hint that Victor could indeed come between these two down the road.
