‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday April 1: Patty Talks Baby, Paul Puzzled – Sage Gets a Clue – Chelsea Thinks Victor Had Adam Fired

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, April 19, tease that Adam (Justin Hartley) will get some disappointing news. At the penthouse, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tells Adam that Billy (Jason Thompson) was fired from Jabot. Adam says he just got fired, too. He points out that the man who called acted hesitant to let him go. Chelsea feels like Victor (Eric Braeden) pulled the strings.

At Newman Enterprises, Nick (Joshua Morrow) grills Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about Billy’s firing. He senses Victoria had something to do with it. Victoria insists it was the right move and rants about how she’s in charge. Nick states that he stands behind Victoria. He thinks she’s the right person for the CEO job. Adam walks in and accuses Victoria of having him fired at Victor’s request. She says that’s not the case.

In his suite, Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) offers Summer (Hunter King) breakfast and they discuss having no regrets about their sex session. They feel like they both need each other right now. Afterwards, Summer finds Natalie (Mara McCaffray) downstairs and gets an earful about blabbing the truth to Victoria. They argue heatedly.

At Crimson Lights, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) bickers with Kevin (Greg Rikaart). She feels like she deserves a share of the profits. Kevin insists that he didn’t cut her out. This is Natalie’s choice and there’s nothing he can do about it. Mariah thinks this is all about Natalie’s interest in Kevin.

Natalie shows up and speaks with Kevin privately. Kevin urges Natalie to let Mariah back in, but she won’t budge. Nearby, Mariah gives Summer updates on what’s going on. Summer hints that maybe Mariah is looking at this from the wrong angle.

Kevin and Natalie inform Mariah that she’s still out. Mariah tells Kevin that Summer pointed out an interesting observation. She’s curious why Kevin hasn’t offered to split his share of the profits. Meanwhile, Paul (Doug Davidson) pays Patty (Stacy Haiduk) a visit. She wants go back to Fairview and Paul is somewhat surprised.

Patty says she’s not afraid anymore. Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) won’t be around to make Patty take medication she doesn’t need. Patty talks about being in the room with Dr. Anderson at the time of her death. Paul questions Patty and she claims she was protecting the baby. Paul presses for more answers, but Patty is distracted by the idea of candy.

At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) wants to hold Sully. She opens up to Sharon about losing Christian and David. Sage is grateful that Sharon is willing to listen. Sharon says she won’t be bringing Sully to work with her. She’s made other arrangements. Sage seems bummed. On her way out, Sage gazes longingly through the window.

At the athletic club, Chelsea complains to Sharon and Sage about Victor. Sharon chimes in about how manipulative Victor is. Across the room, Nurse Stevens walks in and Sharon looks concerned. Upstairs, Dylan (Steve Burton) has some questions for Luca. He asks why he went to see Victor this morning. Luca implies it was to offer reassurance about dating Summer, but Dylan doesn’t seem to buy it.

Later, Dylan heads to Newman and realizes Luca was most likely behind Adam’s firing. He passes along the meeting info. Victoria is frustrated that Victor is pushing his own family away, but he’ll still agree to see Luca. Dylan says Luca suggested Summer was more than a friend. Nick doubts it, but intends to take care of the possibility.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Nick will give Summer a stern warning about Luca. At Newman, Summer arrives after receiving a call from Nick. She says she makes her own decisions about who she can or can’t see. Once Summer departs, Nick chats with Victoria about Victor. They’re all pawns in Victor’s game and Nick thinks it isn’t over yet.

Back at Sharon’s house, Sage comes to take over for the babysitter. She starts singing a lullaby to Sully. Suddenly, Sage has a flashback of Patty singing the same song right after Dr. Anderson’s death. Dylan shows up to find Sage looking perplexed. Y&R rumors hint that answers about Christian are coming soon. Stick with the CBS soap to watch this mystery unravel.
