‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Peter Bergman Teases ‘Philly’ Reveal, Plus How Jack Abbott Will React

‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers tease that ‘Y&R’ fans will not want to miss a second of the drama this week as Jack [Peter Bergman] learns the truth of the sordid affair between his wife Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] and his brother Billy [Jason Thompson]. They may have ended things but we know it doesn’t stop there, Jack is about to let a million dollars go just to learn the truth. Michael Fairman caught up with Jack’s portrayer Peter Bergman for a lovely interview on what actually goes down in Genoa City when all is revealed.

“It’s very powerful stuff … the audience gets its just rewards for waiting patiently for Jack to figure things out,” he revealed about his character finding out about the affair. But what will Jack do when he learns how unfaithful his wife has been? “It’s not going to be pretty! Jack’s not handling it terribly well,” Bergman revealed to Fairman.
Bergman also discussed another hot topic – Justin Hartley’s exit!

Jack and Adam have always been close friends and Bergman was saddened that Hartley had to leave ‘The Young and the Restless’. “I am heartbroken that he has left the show, but quite frankly, I can’t wait to see his new show (This Is Us, NBC). Those promos are wonderful! Justin is a wonderful actor and it’s giant loss for us, and a giant lucky thing for the other show,” said Bergman.

Back to the topic of the ‘Philly’ affair Bergman teased “Grab a hankie!” Sure looks like Jack is about to cry a lot of tears when he learns the ugly truth.
