‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers Monday August 8: Adam and Chelsea at Odds Over Chloe – Victor and Phyllis Become Allies – Lovesick Kevin Has a Plan

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, August 8, tease that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will be a man with a plan. At Crimson Lights, Kevin tells Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he wants to get back together with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). He wants a future with his ex and her daughter.

Kevin asks Mariah to help him make this happen. He hopes Mariah can get Chloe to warm up to the idea at work. Mariah isn’t really on board, but she says she’ll do it. Meanwhile, Chelsea (Melissa Cliare Egan) chats with Chloe at the penthouse. She appreciates that Chloe took the time to go see Adam (Justin Hartley).

After Chelsea leaves, Victor (Eric Braeden) stops by to talk to Chloe. She maintains that she burned the real journal entries, but Victor doesn’t buy it. He urges Chloe to think about Bella (Cali May Kinder). Victor wants those pages and he’s going to get them.

At the state pen, Adam and Chelsea bicker about whether or not Chloe is Victor’s accomplice. Adam feels sure that she is, but Chelsea thinks she truly let go of her desire for revenge. Chelsea doesn’t want Adam to think she’s giving up on him, but it’s obvious that he does.

Adam snaps that he hopes Dylan (Steve Burton) can prove Chloe is the mystery woman. Chelsea mentions that she wants to bring Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) by for a visit, but Adam refuses. He gets up and storms out. Later, Adam dreams he’s been set free. He’s heartbroken when he awakens in his cell.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Mariah will put Kevin’s plan into action. At Chelsea’s design studio, Chloe hints that Mariah and Kevin should be a couple. Mariah replies that they’re sticking to friendship. She points out that Kevin had a nice relationship with Chloe at one time.

Chloe insists that a reunion isn’t happening. It would be too painful. When Mariah meets back up with Kevin, she suggests that things may not work out like he wants them to. She’s not sure Kevin’s relationship with Chloe can be like it was before.

Back at home, Chelsea admits that Adam is pushing her away and Chloe offers reassurance. Across town, Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) and Summer (Hunter King) bask in the afterglow of their engagement. He wants to continue the celebration, but Summer has to give Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) the big news.

At Jabot, Jill (Jess Walton) and Phyllis argue about the latter being on the foundation board. Jill wants Phyllis to step down since Billy (Jason Thompson) took a spot. When Jill rants about her plans for Billy and Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) reunion, Phyllis urges her to just trust that it will happen. Jill wants this bump in the road out of the way.

Summer arrives and gives Phyllis updates on her engagement. Phyllis remains calm, but she doesn’t want Summer to rush this. In the Brash and Sassy office, Victoria is apologetic about showing up drunk. Billy reiterates his wish for Victoria to return to the company.

Jill walks in and Victoria starts complaining. She doesn’t like the fact that Jill pumped her full of alcohol. Jill just wants to know if Victoria is coming back to Brash and Sassy. Victoria agrees that she’d like that and Jill gives her a joyous hug.

After Victoria leaves, Billy cautions Jill to stop the matchmaking. Victoria’s return is about business and nothing more. Jill isn’t convinced. At Newman Enterprises, Luca tries to make amends with Victor. He informs Vic of his engagement to Summer and hopes they can move past all of the animosity.

Victor offers a stern warning. Luca will answer to Victor if he ever hurts Summer. A short time later, Victoria arrives to resign at Newman. Victor says that Victoria was a very capable CEO, but she pipes up that she’s not Adam. Victor wishes Victoria well in her new endeavor.

Victoria heads back to the Brash and Sassy office. She discusses Jill’s reunion ideas with Billy. They agree that that her goals are pointless. Elsewhere, Victor finds Phyllis talking to Nick about Summer’s engagement. Vic admits that he’s on the same side as Phyllis this time. They both want Luca out of the picture.

Y&R rumors hint that some major drama is headed Luca’s way. Will his relationship with Summer survive what’s in store? Stick with the CBS soap to see what Phyllis and Victor will come up with.
