‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday August 1: Adam and Chelsea Strategize – Victor Threatens Chloe – Jill Defends Bossy Nature

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, August 1, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will have a chat with Jill (Jess Walton). It appears Jack may drop a few hints about Jill going overboard on her Billy (Jason Thompson) intervention. Billy has been struggling lately, but it feels like Jill is taking control of his life.

When Jill senses Jack’s disapproval, she’ll quickly defend her recent actions. Jill will suggest that it might seem like she’s an overbearing mother, but she has a good cause. She’ll argue that Jack has a good one, too.

Jill might contend that Jack needs to focus on Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) instead of worrying about what’s up with Brash and Sassy. Now that they’ve moved in as tenants, Jill might mention that it could create a distraction for Jabot. Jill will insist that she wants what’s best for everyone.

Of course, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) may come up in this conversation as well. Since Victoria is coming on board in a leadership role, Jack might think Jill is pushing this reunion too hard. If Billy and Victoria are meant to be together, they will be. There’s no point in trying to force it.

Nevertheless, Y&R spoilers say Jill will stick to the plan. She’ll believe it’s more important than ever to reunite her son and his ex. As for Phyllis, she’ll soon get scolded by Jill for that elevator encounter. Jill will find out and promptly make it clear that this behavior will not be tolerated.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will have some important news for Adam (Justin Hartley). At the state pen, it looks like Chelsea will give Adam updates on Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) return to town. Adam will realize that there could be a reason for Chloe’s sudden reappearance.

After Adam mulls it over for a minute, he’ll tell Chelsea to use her friendship. Adam will hope that Chelsea can figure out what Chloe knows. He’ll think Chelsea might even get Chloe to admit that she was working for Victor (Eric Braeden). It’s doubtful that it’ll be that easy, but at least they’re on the right track.

“The Young and the Restless” rumors hint that Chloe still has a few tricks up her sleeve, but so does Victor. He’ll once again warn Chloe that she’s playing a dangerous game. Victor will add that Chloe knows what he’s capable of. How will Victor manage to get what he wants?
