‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Mariah’s Change Of Heart – Demands Sharon Keep Christian Secret From Nick And Dylan

‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Mariah [Camryn Grimes] has a change of heart and does not want Sharon [Sharon Case] to tell Nick [Joshua Morrow] anything about Christian. After months of practically forcing Sharon to do the right thing, why is Mariah now urging Sharon to keep the secret?

Mariah is now just as guilty of keeping Nick’s son away from him for so long. When Nick finds out he’s going to explode with anger and Mariah is going to get caught in the crossfire. That’s just one reason! Once the secret is out Sharon and Dylan’s [Steve Burton] marriage is most likely over.

Of course, Mariah will use that as a weapon to keep Sharon from spilling everything she knows. After all Sharon and Dylan have a great marriage, Dylan is totally in love with Sharon and they have a happy little family.

Once Nick knows the truth and Christian is returned to his father, custody of Faith becomes an issue once again. There isn’t anything stopping Nick from going to go to battle to gain full custody of Faith [Alyvia Alyn Lynd]. Nick may even go further this time. He could for the worst thing, the one thing that would definitely push Sharon over the edge. Nick could ask to have Sharon’s parental rights terminated completely.

Losing custody of Faith and possibly having her parental rights terminated would challenge Sharon’s mental health yet again. ‘Y&R’ viewers certainly are familiar with Sharon and Nick’s custody battles.

At this point Mariah’s reasons for telling Sharon to be quiet about Christian are selfish. If Sharon is committed to a mental health facility who out there will take sides with her? Nick and Dylan’s fury will spread to the rest of the Genoa City and Mariah will once again become a pariah.
