‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Mariah Stands Up to Chloe – Faith’s Birthday Party – Hilary and Devon Prepare for Feedback

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, September 29, tease that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Devon (Bryton James) will get ready for some feedback on their new endeavor. They’re hoping to put a fresh spin on GC Buzz. Devon wants to do a show featuring gossip with a conscience, but they’ll still have to be careful about how they present it.

Lily (Christel Khalil), Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Billy (Jason Thompson) will watch Hilary report on Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) latest scandal. There’s certainly a lot to cover, but Hilary will manage to keep it short and sweet. Will she succeed in softening the rough edges of this news story? Meanwhile, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will get fed up with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). It feels like Chloe is just stringing Kevin (Greg Rikaart) along until she decides what her true feelings are. Kevin is convinced that he belongs with Chloe, but she seems reluctant to commit.

If Chloe backed off, that would be just fine with Mariah. She doesn’t think Chloe is a good match for Kevin at all. Unfortunately, Chloe is giving Kevin just enough attention to keep him interested. Mariah feels like Kevin is going to get hurt by Chloe and her manipulation. She thinks Chloe’s lies are going to come back to bite her eventually.

As a result, Kevin’s dreams could go up in smoke. Mariah will insist that she can’t stand by and watch her best friend get used. She doesn’t plan on giving up her fight to protect Kevin. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Mariah will begin a search for answers and she won’t stop until she uncovers some shocking details about Chloe’s past.

Until then, Y&R will lighten things up with a sweet shindig for Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) birthday. Most of Faith’s friends and family members will show up for her b-day party. They’ll all sing “Happy Birthday” as Faith prepares to blow out her candles.

What will Faith wish for this year? She’ll probably never tell, but it looks like Sharon (Sharon Case) is wishing for a love interest for Nick (Joshua Morrow). She’ll try to push Nick toward Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), which is weird on so many levels. Faith will even help out with the plan.

Luckily, this matchmaking plot won’t pan out – yet. “The Young and the Restless” rumors hint that romance could be on the way for Nick and Chelsea, but at least it’s not happening right away.
