‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Jill Blackmails Phyllis, Orders Her Stay Away From Billy – Will Phyllis Stay True To Jack?

‘The Young and the Restless’ upcoming spoilers indicate that Jill [Jess Walton] will continue to use the secret affair of Billy [Jason Thompson] and Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] to her advantage. When Jill witnessed her son having the affair with his brother’s wife she demanded Phyllis put a stop to it. Phyllis agreed and went back home to Jack [Peter Bergman] but Jill didn’t stop there, spoilers reveal she will take the things to the next level.

According to the new Soaps in Depth Magazine, Jill will continue to use the secret to keep Phyllis and Billy apart for good. Jack, not knowing of his wife’s tryst, will appoint his brother Billy to a seat on the foundation board, the same one that Phyllis is currently on. Jill, upon learning this, will request that Phyllis steps down and allow Billy to take the seat peacefully.

Charles Pratt Jr., the show’s producer and head writer spoke with SID and teased about the storyline. He highlights “getting Phyllis to end the affair was one thing. But keeping the two lovers apart will be far more difficult”. We can’t help but agree, knowing how much the two characters are drawn to each other. Phyllis may have returned home to her husband, but can she truly remain faithful and stay away from her husband’s brother?

“Jill knows that Phyllis doesn’t want to trash her marriage to Jack, and keeping [the affair] quiet is essential. But she also knows that Phyllis is not easily manipulated!” Pratt shares additionally. Will Phyllis truly stay away? Will she give in to more bed time with Billy? Will she step down at the request of her brother-in-law’s mother?
