‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers Friday June 3: Ian Prepares for Showdown – Adam Rages at Nick – Victor Learns Meredith Took Leave of Absence

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, June 3, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will get a surprise when he returns to the prison infirmary. A male doctor will be waiting for Victor when he walks in. Victor will ask what happened to Dr. Gates (Alicia Coppola) and he’ll be informed that she’s taken a leave of absence.

When we last saw Meredith, she locked the door and began unbuttoning her blouse. We don’t know how the rest of the encounter went, but it appears Meredith has come to her senses about this love affair. She knows it’s not right, but she just can’t control her desire for Victor. Stepping away from her position eliminates the temptation.

Of course, Meredith’s move could also cause Victor’s plan to hit a snag. He’ll mull over the news and try to regroup. Meanwhile, Ian (Ray Wise) will await the arrival of a visitor. He’ll suggest that this showdown is long overdue. It should be interesting to see how this tense meeting goes.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers indicate that Adam (Justin Hartley) will get fed up with Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) lack of support. Adam needs help, but Nick refuses to give it. Nick would just like for this mess to be put to rest. He’s still grieving over Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) death and he wants to find a way to move on.

Adam will be outraged that Nick is willing to let Victor get away with this. His anger will get the best of him as he tries to secure Nick’s assistance. Friday’s preview video shows Adam shouting, “You think that Victor wins, I go to prison, this whole thing is over! That’s what you think?!”

Nick has already been having some doubts about washing his hands of the situation. We all know that Nick has a good heart, but his grief is currently clouding his view. Nick isn’t Adam’s biggest fan either, so that certainly isn’t helping anything.

Nevertheless, Adam may be forced to pursue other options if he wants to prove his innocence. Y&R rumors hint that major drama is in Adam’s future. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on Adam’s new alliance.
