‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday July 15: Stitch Feels Guilty – Dr. Neville Faces Backlash – Hilary Warms Up to Devon

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, July 15, tease that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will urge Stitch (Sean Carrigan) to open up about his relationship with Abby (Melissa Ordway). At the hospital, Stitch tries to avoid Ashley’s questions. When she persists, Stitch admits that he’s struggling with guilt and regret.

Ashley thinks Stitch needs to talk to Abby about how he’s feeling. She believes they can work through this crisis. Stitch heads on his way and Ashley spots Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) leaving Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) room. He’s been ordered out. Hilary wants nothing to do with him.

Dr. Neville asks Ashley to talk some sense into Hilary, but Ash doesn’t know what to think about all of this. She wonders about Dr. Neville’s results, which obviously weren’t positive as he originally indicated. Dr. Neville assures Ashley that he wasn’t lying, but he confesses that he may have jumped the gun on calling the treatment a success.

Ashley is irritated that Dr. Neville called the FDA so quickly. He should’ve waited so they could see the potential side effects. Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) tries to remind Hilary of happier times. She’s not interested in letting Devon comfort her, but he refuses to back off.

At the athletic club, Jack (Peter Bergman) talks to Neil (Kristoff St. John) about firing Hilary from the foundation. He brings up the fact that Hilary kissed him and pretended to be sick. Neil gives Jack updates on Hilary’s declining condition.

Jack is sorry he doubted Hilary’s claims. Neil suggests they can’t let Hilary go right now. It wouldn’t look right and could adversely affect the organization. In a suite, Cane (Daniel Goddard) tries to create a romantic atmosphere. He calls Lily (Christel Khalil) to the room and they make love.

Later, Lily and Cane join Neil in the dining room. They overhear him telling Jack they should keep Hilary on the board. Neil mentions that Dr. Neville may be in over his head. He urges Cane and Lily to support Devon at the hospital. They refuse, but Neil insists that Devon still feels connected to Hilary. Lily isn’t pleased by the news.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Abby will get some relationship guidance from Dylan (Steve Burton) and Sharon (Sharon Case). At The Dive Bar, Abby sits alone and sulks. Dylan and Sharon approach Abby to get to the bottom of her worries. Abby says Stitch won’t talk to her.

Dylan thinks Abby needs to keep trying. He brings up how he has such an honest relationship with Sharon. Strong couples don’t have secrets. Stitch arrives and Dylan speaks with him privately. He suggests that Stitch really needs to let Abby in.

Back with Sharon and Abby, they continue to chat about the situation. Sharon thinks Abby needs to back off. She shouldn’t risk making things worse. Later, Stitch and Abby make small talk during a conversation alone. Abby hints that she’s missed moments like this. The pair shares a smooch.

At home, Sharon’s guilt starts to get to her. She feels like she doesn’t deserve Dylan. He reminds her of his love and they start to dance. Sharon peeks at Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) picture, but tries to put it out of her mind. She has sex with Dylan on the couch.

At the hospital, Devon wants to convince Hilary that he can be there for her. She eventually opens up about her fears. Devon offers reassurance. Jack comes in and apologizes for doubting Hilary. She blames Dr. Neville for deceiving everyone.

Devon won’t allow Dr. Neville to treat Hilary anymore. He’s tired of the doc’s riskiness and thinks Ashley needs to distance herself from him as well. Jack wants to know what he can do, but Devon thinks he should focus on Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Hilary confesses that she’s glad Devon is around.

Ashley reconvenes with Dr. Neville and indicates that she hasn’t given up on him. She still thinks he’s Hilary’s only hope for survival. Jack heads up to Phyllis’ suite, but stops before knocking. He turns around and walks away. Y&R rumors hint that more trouble is brewing for this struggling couple. Stay tuned to see if their marriage will officially come to an end.
