Dylan (Steve Burton) has allowed his personal feelings about Victor (Eric Braeden) to affect his professional work on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Regardless of what everyone is advising him to do, this Genoa City lawman is right. Victor did frame Adam (Justin Hartley) for murder and then orchestrated his ill-fated escape. But, now Dylan’s job has become harder because the ‘Moustache’ had a restraining order placed against his own stepson.

It’s very strange and a bit soapy, that Dylan has a white board behind his desk that allows anyone to see his brainstormed outline of Adam’s closed case. Imagine if one of the proposed suspects happened by and gained that information? Sure enough, Victor went to visit Dylan at the police station. He saw the sticky notes and magic marker thoughts and began playing verbal games.
Victor claimed that he was ready to give a statement after being gently taunted. So, Dylan turned his computer-connected device on, stated the episode-marked date, and swiveled an old-school black microphone in the ‘Moustache’s’ direction. Of course, the accused responded in classic fashion. The recently released Walworth State Prison inmate stated that he loved his son and wanted only the best for him.
After getting into a modest verbal battle, Paul (Doug Davidson) walked in, apologized to Victor and told him he was free to go. The chief later admonished his son and told him to apologize to Victor. Dylan told his dad (and boss) to take his badge because he would never grovel at Victor’s feet and knew that the ‘Moustache’ was guilty.

Setting change to a table at the Genoa City Athletic Club: Victor tells one of his minions that something has to be done about Dylan. Paul arrived and told Victor that he was sorry about what transpired at the station. Victor’s associate handed Paul papers that turned out to be a restraining order against Mr. McAvoy. So, Dylan’s task of proving Victor’s guilt became that much harder.
