‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Can Phyllis Stay Faithful To Jack, Or Will She Cheat With Her Brother-In-Law Billy Again?

The Young and the Restless spoilers will continue with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) being torn between the Abbott brothers, her husband, Jack (Peter Bergman) and his younger brother, Billy (Jason Thompson). Phyllis adores her husband and is doing everything possible to look like the doting wife; there is just one problem, Jack looks exactly like the man who Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hired to replace Jack. Every time Phyllis looks at him, she cannot help but think of Marco too.

Phyllis’ affair with Billy, was a desperate move on her part. Billy is someone who is no good for Phyllis, but he just feels so right in the moment. She knows there is no future for them, but Billy wants her and will do anything to get her back into his arms and into his bed, including caressing her under the table at a family dinner!

The attraction is understandable. Billy and Phyllis share the same views and hatred towards Victor Newman; both want nothing more than to take him down and put him in jail. The Y&R’s Jack, has always been a calmer and more collected person, and instead of going after Victor for what he did to his wife, he would prefer peace; which makes Phyllis lean more towards Billy because obviously Jack doesn’t understand her pain. Billy even notes to his brother that he is suppressing Phyllis’ spirit.

Fans of The Young and the Restless know that what Billy wants, Billy usually gets. He feels that what Phyllis and him share is beyond the lust and anger that brought them together. Phyllis is trying to resist him, and determined to stand by Jack’s side, but Billy knows if he pushes her hard enough, she will give in. He feels that they love each other and can make it work, that they are strong enough to last through the fallout if their affair was revealed.

Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) is already threatening to expose the truth, but how real are the threats? Jill has told them both that if they don’t end things, she will reveal it all to Jack, which will obviously end Jack and Phyllis’ marriage. What Jill may not realize is that if she pushes too hard and tells Jack, that leaves the door wide open for Phyllis to shack up with her son, Billy.

The Young and the Restless’ Billy Abbott is famous for his self-destructive phases. Fans have seen this happen over and over with him, especially when he is on the “outs” with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Billy has found out that Victoria is together with Travis Crawford (Michael Roark), so it looks like that revelation is going to push his pursuit of Phyllis even harder.

Everyone is very judgmental of Billy; usually its only archenemy Victor who is belittling him, but lately it seems like everyone is coming down hard on him, everybody but Phyllis. So we can’t help but wonder is his connection to Phyllis real love, or is he just traveling a very dark path right now, and she is the only light he sees?
