‘The Young and the Restless’ RUMOR: Jeff Branson Returning To ‘Y&R’ – Could Ronan Malloy Be Bella’s Father?

‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers have kept teasing ‘Y&R’ fans about the paternity of Chloe Mitchell’s [Elizabeth Hendrickson] daughter Bella [May Kinder]. Kevin Fisher [Greg Rikkart] took a paternity test and much to his dismay found out he is not Bella’s daddy.

This would lead viewers to believe that Billy Abbott [Jason Thompson] is Bella’s father since Chloe stole Billy’s sperm before leaving Genoa City. But what if Billy’s sperm was not viable? What if there is another man who might be the father of Chloe’s daughter?

Rumors that Chloe reconnected with ex-boyfriend Ronan Malloy [Jeff Branson] after leaving Genoa City have ‘The Young and the Restless’ viewers buzzing. Chloe and Ronan had a chemistry-filled relationship, though Chloe had a habit of really getting under Ronan’s skin.

‘The Young and the Restless’ viewers will remember that Ronan initially came to Genoa City to work with Christine Blair [Lauralee Bell]. Ronan was also seeking the identity of his birth mother. That turned out to be Nina Webster [Tricia Cast} gave birth to Ronan only to have him immediately kidnapped.

Chloe and Ronan had something good, they connected with each other on a deep level. It may be just a rumor right now but it’s not a stretch to think that Ronan and Chloe may have hooked up after she fled town. Ronan may have even helped Chloe leave Genoa City.

When Jeff Branson’s contract with ‘The Young and the Restless’ was up in 2012 the actor indicated that then executive producer Jill Farren Phelps had no desire to keep Ronan on the canvas of characters. Ronan’s departure from town left many unanswered questions and unresolved relationships.

One of the unresolved relationships that could be revisited if the rumors are true that Jeff Branson is returning to ‘The Young and the Restless’ would be his hot affair with Phyllis Abbott [Gina Tognoni]. Ronan Malloy was quite the lady’s man and not only romanced Chloe, but also Paul William’s daughter Heather Stevens [Jennifer Landon].

With no word yet on a recast for Dylan McAvoy [Steve Burton], Ronan Malloy could slide right into a position at the Genoa City Police Department. A seasoned investigator, Ronan could replace Dylan as GCPD detective.

The rumors could possibly be true of Jeff Branson’s return with Mal Young now at the helm of ‘The Young and the Restless.’ And there’s always that chance that Ronan is the Bella’s father and not Billy.
