‘The Young and the Restless’ POLL: Should Chelsea Reveal Christian’s Paternity? VOTE!

‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) has fans raging on the issue of Christian’s paternity. Many people have had secrets regarding Christian and even though he is reunited with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), there is one more secret that needs to be revealed before everything can settle down.

Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) knows that Christian is not really Nick’s son, but Adam’s (Justin Hartley); only her and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) know this but neither one of them is telling Nick the truth. How will Nick react when he finds out?

When the truth comes out, there is bound to be a custody battle and the courts will enter unprecedented areas deciding who should be raising the little guy: Nick was legally married to Sage (Kelly Sullivan) when she died, but Chelsea was married to Adam when he died too.

Y&R has really painted Chelsea in a corner, when she learned that Christian was alive, she became really close to Nick and has been standing up for him against Sharon (Sharon Case) and Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton). She has become a big part of Christian’s life, but hasn’t explained why she is doing it. Christian is her last connection to Adam, of course she is going to do anything to stay in Nick’s life; but the question is should she reveal his paternity to everyone?

On the one hand, Chelsea is abiding by Sage’s wishes. Sage had begged Adam to keep the paternity a secret, and let Nick be happy and when Adam believed Christian was dead, he went along with it. He died before the truth came out, so as his wife, what was Chelsea to do? She is caught between a rock and a hard place.

Some fans think that Chelsea is honoring Sage’s wishes but others feel she is being sneaky and her lies will catch up to her. Do you think that Chelsea should tell Nick, or keep the secret? Please take this poll and let us know what you think?
