Little secrets bring out bigger secrets and Victoria ends things with him when she learns that his hatred for rich, privileged people comes from his working on Wall Street; one more thing he kept from her. Who could blame Victoria for starting to feel like he was the same as her ex-husband, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)?
Y&R’s Victoria was beginning to move on with her life when Travis decided that he would rather travel the world on a sailboat than settle down and plant roots in Genoa City. She had let him go until Luca Santori (Miles Gaston Villanueva) pinned the oil leak on him, and she needed to get answers either way. Travis returned and proved Luca was the liar.
Travis admitted he’s not leaving and Victoria invites Travis to move in with her, in spite Billy’s protests. Things seemed to be going well for the couple, Travis is hired by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) who takes him into the Newman fold, admitting that Travis is far better for Victoria than that Billy Boy Abbott!
But how sincere is Victor, especially after he asks Travis to investigate information leaked to the media? Travis was doing a thorough job, but crossed the line when he included Victor’s family as suspects. Victoria may be leery about why Victor hired Travis, but maybe she should be looking at Travis and what he has to gain by working for Victor? Is Travis sincere in trying to prove himself to the Victor, or is he working with someone to take him down?
Last week, Michelle Hazelton (Kelly Frye) arrived in town; Michelle is the wife of his former boss on Wall Street that he had an affair with. Victoria knows about the affair, and has gotten past that, but how will she feel when she finds out Michelle is not only in Genoa City, but has met with Travis; even inviting him out for drinks.
Travis goes to the Underground, drinking a lot of alcohol. Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) is bartending and offers him sage advice about being involved with a Newman and how much Victor will interfere. Of course, Travis goes home furious to find Billy is there with Victoria. Victoria sends him away; even Billy defends him and tells Victoria she was a little hard on him.
Travis leaves and ends up at Michelle’s hotel room, she drops the towel around her, and they end up in bed together. Are Travis’ actions going to be the end of this couple? Please take this poll and tells us what you think. Do you believe Travis trustworthy; not just in business, but also personally?
