‘The Young and The Restless’ POLL: Do You Prefer Marisa with Noah or Luca? VOTE!

‘The Young and The Restless’ (Y&R) love triangle between Marisa Sierras [Sofia Pernas], Luca Santori [Miles Gaston Villanueva] and Noah Newman [Robert Adamson] is far from resolved. Do you like this storyline or want to see Marisa pick one and stick with him? Vote in the POLL below.

Marisa and Noah seemed to have a sweet love, but she wasn’t honest with him. Luca seemed more dastardly than Noah, but he’s also got those swarthy Latin looks and sexy charm. You can’t really blame Marisa for being tempted by them both.

Marisa and Luca do have a deeper history. They fell in love and married young then had a baby that they gave up for adoption. When the Santori clan was horrible to Marisa, it ruined her marriage to Luca and she took off then ended up as the mob moll of Marco Annicelli [Peter Bergman].

By the time Marisa hit Genoa City, she was fresh off a boat explosion, convinced her marriage was ruined for good, mourning the loss of her kid, adrift and alone in a new town. And there was sweet Noah showing her kindness.

He gave her a job and a place to live and a reason to go on. Perhaps if Luca had stayed gone, they would have grown into a solid couple. But then Luca came back and Marisa lied about him to Noah again and again. When the truth came out, Noah was stunned but still supportive.

The real problem with Noah vs Luca is that neither is a bad guy. Sure Luca is from a wealthy family headed by a dangerous patriarch – but doesn’t that also sound like the Newman clan too? Wealthy family… unscrupulous patriarch…

Yes Luca lied about Ava being in danger, but he just wanted to get Marisa out of Genoa City so they could have a real moment to talk. He’s not the bad guy his father is and he really loves her. So far as we have seen, Luca is not much of a villain once everything came out.

But Marisa keeps coming back to Noah – they shagged at the Newman tower – and then she helped him hide evidence of his running over Billy Abbott [Jason Thompson]. And even though Luca found out about the hit and run and could destroy his rival, he’s not blabbing – at least not yet.

Perhaps the issue in this triangle is not Luca vs Noah – but Marisa vs herself. She’s the one stringing both these hotties along – doesn’t she owe it to them to choose one and give the other up? What do you think Y&R fans, which one do you prefer?
