‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Miles Gaston Villanueva OUT, Confirms Luca’s Exit From ‘Y&R’

‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers tease another soap shocker – Miles Gaston Villanueva is out as the infamous Luca Santori. This is very sad because we were just getting to love Luca and so badly wanted more of him, however we won’t be seeing him for much longer. On the heels of the show reaching their latest milestone episodes, comes word from the actor himself that he will be exiting ‘The Young and the Restless’.

Villanueva is one of the newest additions to the cast – but could his exit have been predicted long ago? When it was reported that Robert Adamson [Noah Newman] and Sofia Pernas [Marisa] was dropped to recurring, viewers began speculating that Villanueva who was in their orbit would soon be dropped as well, but now it is official that he won’t be dropped but rather he will make a full exit.  “*salutes* Thanks for this. Rebirth elsewhere. Stay tuned,”he tweeted in confirmation of his exit. Soaps.com confirmed that Miles is out at the CBS soap.

Villanueva joined as a recurring player in the role of Luca, who was revealed to be the husband of Marissa. He then moved on to finding love with Summer Newman [Hunter King], but her entire family was against it. Now that Luca is paying the price for the oil spill, his exit seems pretty self-explanatory.

Even though he will exit soon, fans can look forward to him in new projects as he teased he will find “rebirth elsewhere”. At this point there is no indication as to when his exit will happen but we are sure it will happen very soon.
