‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Lachlan Buchanan Stars In Keith Urban’s Music Video ‘Wasted Time’

‘The Young And The Restless’ spoilers recently revealed that Lachlan Buchanan would not be back in Genoa City after his most recent visit as Kyle Abbott.  Even when Lachlan was on recurring status, we didn’t get to see a whole lot of him on the CBS soap opera.  But, there is good news for Lachlan’s fans – you can check him out in Keith Urban’s new music video “Wasted Time.”

The country music video for “Wasted Time” was just released on Thursday April 28, and his fans are going nuts over it.  A ton of ‘Y&R’ fans took to social media to ask Lachlan Buchanan if that was him in the new video, and he confirmed that it was.  

“Wasted Time” is off from Keith Urban’s new album “Ripcord” and you may also recognize the catchy tune – Keith performed it live at the 2016 ACM Awards.  It may seem a little random for Lachlan Buchanan to appear in a Keith Urban music video – but it actually makes perfect sense if you think about it.  Lachlan Buchanan is actually from Australia, and although Keith Urban sings country music – he too hails from Australia.  Its unclear whether it was just a coincidence that the two Aussie’s wound up on the same music video, or they actually know each other from back home.

Regardless, the “Wasted Time” music video is awesome – and if you are missing Lachlan Buchanan on ‘Y&R,’ then you should definitely check it out!
