‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Jessica Collins Announces Birth Of Daughter Jemma – See Baby’s First Photos!

‘The Young And The Restless‘ alum Jessica Collins took to social media on Thursday January 28th and shocked her followers by announcing that she and Michael Cooney are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl named Jemma Kate Collins Cooney.  Their precious little bundle of joy was born on Saturday January 23 2016.

Jessica Collins played the part of Avery Bailey Clark (Phyllis’s sister) on ‘The Young And The Restless‘ from July 2011 – July 2015.  She was romantically linked to half-brothers Nick Newman and then Dylan McAvoy – but the lawyer turned baker’s character went haywire on the CBS soap opera when her dark and mysterious ex-husband Joe Clark arrived in Genoa City and then it was all downhill from there.  Regardless, we definitely miss Collins on ‘Y&R‘ – but it looks like she has a new role in her life – mommy!
