Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Angell Conwell is returning to ‘The Young and the Restless’ to reprise the role of attorney Leslie Michaelson Shelby in the March 14th episode.
Conwell made her debut in the role back in December of 2010 as a recurring character; however she was placed on contract in 2012 by Jill Farren Phelps. Conwell however was dropped right back to recurring back in August, 2014. Conwell’s character was hot in storyline with Neil (Kristoff St. John) as they were eventually engaged but things did not work out and Leslie secretly got married to Dr. Barton Shelby (Terrell Tilford).

Since being dropped to recurring we only see Leslie on the canvas representing someone in court, her last appearance was April 21, 2015. Now after almost a year of being absent comes word that the character will resurface temporarily this March. Reports suggest that Leslie comes back to town on business, so somebody on the canvas will have some legal woes.
Who will Leslie be representing this time, could she be representing her former flame Neil Winters? Neil obviously has troubles, he has rarely been sober lately, does he drink to an extent that he gets himself in trouble resulting in Leslie coming back to use her lawyer expertise.
Conwell is extremely happy about reprising the role, when interviewed after being bumped to recurring she said “I’m really fortunate to be a working actress, but Young and Restless will always be a priority whenever they call.”
