‘The Bold and The Beautiful’ RUMOR: Eric Is Going On A Revenge Streak

If revenge is a dish best served cold, then Eric Forrester (John McCook) qualifies as an Iron Chef on, “The Bold and the Beautiful.” After months of suffering through his family’s sickening lies and betrayal, rumor has it that Eric is about to go all in on his unsuspecting spawn.

And who can deny that Eric is entitled to a little payback for all the nastiness that he’s endured at the hands of his ungrateful family?

The bad blood between the Forrester’s started flowing when patriarch Eric took up with beautiful town pariah Quinn (Rena Sofer). Sure, she’s made her share of mistakes (like inflicting emotional and bodily harm on countless victims), but who hasn’t, right?

In response to his affair, Eric’s sons Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Rick (Jacob Young), along with granddaughter Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), set out to steal Eric’s multimillion dollar company and exile him from the family.

Good-hearted Eric held out hope that his kin would eventually find their lost loyalty, but boy was he wrong! Things took a turn for the worse when Eric and Quinn invited the whole family to their nuptials. Soon after, an enraged Ridge got into a verbal altercation with Eric that ended with Eric in the hospital.

Eric’s family have continued to defy him throughout his convalescence, in particular challenging his appointment of Quinn as CEO.

But now the tide appears to be turning. This week Eric turned up at the office in a suit and tie, walking and talking like a revitalized man.

Is this the first sign that a healthy Eric is starting his mission to right some wrongs? If the latest rumor is true, Eric is off to a smashing start in making Ridge and Rick pay the price for their disloyalty.

Both sons were stunned when he announced his appointment of Wyatt (Darin Brooks) as head of public relations, and relegated them to being co-vice presidents.
