‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ POLL: Who Should Get Custody of Will, Bill Or Katie? VOTE!

“The Bold and the Beautiful” viewers know that Bill (Don Diamont) and Katie (Heather Tom) are in the midst of a major crisis. The truth is out about Bill’s affair with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie is spiraling out of control. It appears Katie and Bill’s marriage is over, but that doesn’t mean they’re done. There’s still a very important issue they need to work out.

Since divorce seems imminent, that leaves us wondering what will happen to Bill and Katie’s son. Who should get custody of Will (Zane Achor)? Let’s look at this situation from both sides so you can cast your vote in our “Bold and the Beautiful” poll.

First, B&B fans have to consider Katie’s drinking. She’s definitely had several moments of drunkenness over the last few months. Katie has also exhibited flashes of instability. She can barely keep herself going sometimes. That could make it difficult to care for a child.

In light of the cheating news, Katie has truly hit rock bottom. She may not be able to rise above this challenge without some serious help. The fear of the unknown is a real concern for Bill. He’s just not sure that Katie can handle Will right now.

Then again, it’s Bill and Brooke’s fault that Katie even turned to alcohol in the first place. Katie has been trying to drown out her suspicions with booze, but she may not feel the need to drink now that she knows her inklings were correct. At least Katie has the peace of knowing she’s not crazy.

Katie deserved an intense outburst after all of Bill’s deception and adulterous behavior. She had every right to last out at her husband. It’s ridiculous to think that Katie wouldn’t need to unleash the anger that’s been steadily building. “The Bold and the Beautiful” viewers wouldn’t have expected anything less.

Bill can’t really use Katie’s fury as grounds for custody. There were simply some things that needed to be said – or shouted in this case. A little piece of Bill might be taking Will to spite Katie. You never know what’s going on in Bill’s head. It’s not like Bill gave Will much thought when he was canoodling with Brooke.

It seems outrageous to rip Katie away from her son when Bill was the one who destroyed their family. You could argue that Bill is pouring salt in the wound. Nevertheless, we can’t focus on malice or even what’s fair to the parents. It just comes down to what’s best for Will.
