‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ News: Jacob Young Sings Waylon Jennings – Shares Acoustic Version of “Just To Satisfy You” Video

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Jacob Young [Rick Forrester] took up his guitar and played an acoustic version of country music icon Waylon Jennings 1963 song ‘Just To Satisfy You.’ Jacob shared the video on Instagram.

It’s time for Jacob to release more music. It’s been much too long since his self-titled debut album was released in September 2001 by Artemis Records. It included two tracks from his ‘Life is Good ‘ EP – the title song and ‘Twisted.’

Back home on his ranch in Northern Utah after a couple of weeks in California taping scenes for “B&B,’ Jacob is enjoying family life. The caption accompanying the video says, “Wailin’ some Waylon. Everyone says sleep when your babies are sleeping. I say play guitar, it’s the only free time I get to myself! #waylon #countrymusic #babygirl.”

The song Jacob choose was ‘Just to Satisfy You,’ which was recorded in 1963 by the iconic country music singer Waylon Jennings and featured Willie Nelson. Jacob does the Country Music Hall Famer’s proud with his acoustic version. Have a listen and decide for yourself.

There are dozens of comments on the video from ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ fans. “Dayum! Why aren’t you in Nashville?? Talk about multi-talented! Maybe it’s time for Rick’s country singin’ doppelganger to show up in L.A.?” one viewer commented.

Wouldn’t that be an interesting twist on ‘B&B’? Or maybe Jacob could make a guest appearance on the ABC drama ‘Nashville’ alongside Jonathan Jackson [Avery Barkley]? After all, they both portrayed Lucky Spencer on ‘General Hospital’ so they have that in common, too.

Jacob’s wife Christen Young enjoys her husband’s singing and guitar playing so much she couldn’t decide whether or not to take a nap or listen in. She posted a photo of the couple’s daughter Molly sleeping and wrote, “Best advice people gave me is to sleep when the babies are sleeping…or listen to @jacob_w_young play guitar. Guitar wins today!!! #FeelingRested #TalentedHusband #Love #Family #SleepingBeauty #LoveHer.”

Molly is Jacob Young’s 3-year-old daughter. The ‘B&B’ star and his wife have a son, 7-year-old Luke, and Grace Elizabeth who was born on March 20, 2016. Hopefully Jacob and Christen managed to get in a nap in that day.
