‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ News: Casting New Character, A Teenage Boy

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ is seeking to add more members to the cast. According to Soap Opera Digest, the CBS soap is looking for a 16-year-old boy. The role is said to be a recurring one and the successful candidate will begin shooting scenes soon.

Although there is no additional information regarding this character, like for instance when he will debut or a character description, there are a few things that could be considered. Firstly, who could this teen boy be related to?

Some persons are already speculating that Brooke [Katherine Kelly Lang] could somehow get back in Ridge’s [Thorsten Kaye] orbit by the show bringing back their son R.J. Mace Coronel was the last one to play R.J Forrester when he was tapped for the role in 2013. Could the show have decided to SORAS (rapidly age) their son to add more stories for the two?

Then there is the possibility of the show deciding to rapidly age other characters – for instance, Bill [Don Diamont] and Katie’s [Heather Tom] son Will. Will Spencer was born back in 2012 and has been played by Zane Alexander Achor. With everything that is going between Bill, Katie and Brooke; aging Will could be an interesting story. Katie usually turns to drinking to drown her problems, what if Will is aged and gives a whole lot of trouble like teenagers usually do? Will Katie resort to drinking yet again?  Although, that seems a bit far-fetched.

And then, there are other possible candidates that could also be rapidly aged for some interesting stories. Or the show could be carrying on a totally new character and connect them to existing characters. Could somebody in L.A have a relative that will be showing up to cause some trouble soon? Who would you suggest for this role B&B fans?
