‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ News: 5 ‘B&B’ Characters That Need Storylines

Storylines are needed and they’re needed fast for some characters on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. With regular cast cuts due to budgetary reasons, lack of storyline and more, the future of some characters may be in danger on B&B. We here at Soap Opera Spy think it’s high time for the writers to invest in some meaty and juicy storylines for the 5 characters we’ve selected below. Carter Walton [Lawrence Saint Victor]

Lawrence made his debut as Carter back in 2013. When he first came to LA, he was visiting his brother Marcus Walton [Texas Battle]. Over time, Carter decided to stick around and he later got involved with Maya [Karla Mosley] but things ended when Maya started seeing Rick [Jacob Young]. Carter since then hasn’t had much of storyline, except for being Ridge’s [Thorsten Kaye]BFF and an adviser for Zende [Rome Flynn]. Carter is Forrester Creations and LA’s resident lawyer, who is also a marriage officer. The last time we saw Carter was January 15 and that has been quite a while. This is no doubt due to the lack of storyline for him. With that hunky body, what Carter needs is a love life filled with romantic moments and possibly some love trouble. We are hoping we have not seen the last of him, give him a proper storyline B&B.

Deacon Sharpe [Sean Kanan]

Why the relationship with him and Quinn [Rena Sofer] was never fully explored, we must ask. Their relationship started out really well but didn’t work. Personally, Deacon was better off with Brooke [Katherine Kelly Lang]. Rather than the show repeating history and writing Brooke betraying her sister by sleeping with her sister’s husband, the show should have revisited a Brooke and Deacon pairing. Now, with Quinn’s obsession with Liam [Scott Clifton] we hardly see Deacon. Can we assume that the relationship with Deacon and Quinn is totally dissolved? Where is Deacon? This man needs a storyline and a good one asap!

Eric Forrester [John McCook]

Eric stepping down from Forrester Creations was probably a good thing. But other than that no story is a bad thing. We think Eric needs a good story right now; maybe a romantic relationship would boost that. But who would be the possible contenders for Eric’s heart. All of his former lovers are involved with somebody else, Pam is seeing Charlie [Dick Christie], Brooke is sleeping with Bill [Don Diamont], Taylor [Hunter Archilla] is nowhere in LA and Donna [Jennifer Gareis] has not been seen since last year. For a while we were hoping Eric and Brooke would be the next B&B couple but it looks like that isn’t happening at least no anytime soon.

Pam Douglas [Alley Mills]

Other than sitting at Forrester Creations’ front desk, answering telephones, sometimes meddling and her relationship with Charlie [Dick Christie], Pam has no real story. We think B&B should invest in a storyline for the character and this way her fans could see her more often. Maybe a love triangle could do the trick for the character, one that possibly involves her, Charlie and Eric. Wouldn’t it be fun to watch Pam torn between these two men and what could happen when it’s revealed of a love affair? This is something B&B is well known for so it could definitely work.

Ivy Forrester [Ashleigh Brewer]

We are wondering; why Ivy was shipped off back to Australia. There were so many things that could have happened for the character. Ivy and Wyatt [Darin Brooks] had so much chemistry why did the writers choose to dissolve something that could have been so big? Aren’t you missing Ivy and that accent fans? We here at SOS, think bringing back Ivy could be the perfect solution. Especially for Liam’s [Scott Clifton] broken heart. While some may think Quinn and Liam could be the next big thing, some think Ivy and Liam should reconnect. What do you think B&B fans?
