Soap Opera Weekly Ratings June 20 – 24: ‘Y&R’ and ‘B&B’ Ratings Soar – ‘GH’ Ratings Remains Steady – ‘DOOL’ Ratings Rebound

The soap opera ratings for the week of June 20-24 have been posted by Soap Opera Network and there is great news for ‘The Young and the Restless’ and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ viewers. Both soaps ratings soared over the previous week.

‘General Hospital’ ratings are still steadily increasing and ‘Days of Our Lives’ ratings rebounded after reaching a new low during the previous week.

Days of Our Lives

The week of June 20-24 was a good one for ‘DOOL.’ After the daytime drama’s ratings hit new lows across the board the soap opera managed to pull its ratings out of the basement. With 2,125,000 total viewers watching ‘DOOL’ saw a bump in the ratings of 51,000 viewers. There were 376,000 women viewers between 18-49 watching. This is an increase of 33,000 in that demographic.

General Hospital

‘General Hospital’ continues its steady ratings increase. 2,735,000 total viewers tuned in for the week of June 20-24. That represents an increase of 37,000 viewers in that demographic. Women ages 18-49 represent 454,000 viewers – a gain of 5,000 over the week before in this category.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Soap Opera Network reports good news for ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ fans. With 3,741,000 total viewers ‘B&B’ had an increase in ratings of 107,000 in that category. Women 18-49 also are watching the CBS daytime drama again – 556,000 viewers came from that demographic. That represents an increase of 42,000 from the previous week.

The Young and the Restless

‘Y&R’ ratings came back strong for the week of June 20-24. After hitting a new low the week before 4,595,000 total viewers were watching last week. That represents an increase of 315,000 total viewers. ‘The Young and the Restless’ also gained back women 18-49 with 614,000 – a ratings increase of 35,000 in this demographic.
