Rebecca Budig, Scott Reeves, Rena Sofer, And More Soap Stars React To Tragic Orlando Shooting

The most severe and tragic incident since 9/11 took place over the weekend! A number of 49 persons were reportedly left dead and 53 brutally injured. It was a very sad weekend for numerous families as they lost their loved ones in an utterly tragic way. Several officials were confident that this attack was one relating to terrorism but several others believe it was done out of rage against gays. This horrific shooting that took place in Orlando on Sunday morning left the LGBT community shaken up and several current and former daytime soap stars shared their thoughts on the tragedy.

“So sickened by the evil in this world. Lord help us. #prayfororlando” Scott Reeves tweeted. Reeves, is known to many ‘General Hospital’, ‘The Young and the Restless’ and ‘Days of Our Lives’ for his roles on the shows. We do think this was really a sick act and we are praying for those in Orlando.
‘General Hospital’ actress Rebecca Budig [Hayden Barnes] also joined in to share her thought with a tweet saying, “So sad. I hate guns. #PrayForOrlando.” And throughout the day other daytime stars shared their displeasure with the event that took place. Camryn Grimes [Mariah Copeland] from ‘The Young and the Restless’ was very disturbed “At this point, I just have no words. #GunReformNOW #Orlando” she tweeted. This is certainly a tragedy that would leave anyone disturbed and lost for words.

Stars from ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ such as Rena Sofer [Quinn} and Jacqueline McInnes Woods [Steffy] later joined in to share their thoughts. “I am sick about #Orlando. Come on everybody. Can’t we love and accept each other for our differences?? My heart breaks for the victims!” Sofer said. While Woods shared “I am truly devastated and disgusted by this evil act of violence #PrayForOrlando”.
This has left many persons shaken up, crying out for love and peace in the world. It is no doubt an unspeakable tragedy! – We are praying for Orlando.
