At the same time General Hospital’s Legal Eagles, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennsey) are set for the trial to begin. Even though Alexis has mixed feelings for her estranged husband, Julian; he did try to kill her and now she is determined to make him pay for all the turmoil he caused to her and her family.

Alexis tells Diane, “This is the beginning of the end for him!” Maybe things have just become easier for Alexis, when we see Julian in his PCPD jail cell, tell his attorney that he wants to change his plea, and to plead guilty. Is this because he still loved Alexis, and doesn’t want to see her pained and conflicted, or does he have something else up his sleeve?
Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) returns to General Hospital to visit Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), after Nurse Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) demands he goes to eat something and get some rest, so he can be at his best when Liz wakes up. He enters Liz’ hospital room and sees Hayden Barnes Cassadine (Rebecca Budig) and Liz arguing. Franco blurts out that they are sisters, and he can prove it! Will Naomi Dreyfus (Robin Riker) or Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) attempt to tamper with the proof, or is the secret out for good?

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has been filled with anxiety since she left the GH emergency board meeting, where it was being strongly advised to close General Hospital down, as long as there is a serial killer on the loose in its hallways. She meets with her sister-in-law, Dr. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) at the Metro Court, to tell her what is happening, when the serial killer himself joins the table.
We all know that D.A. Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) is the General Hospital serial killer, and now he knows that the hospital may be shut down. Was this his goal all along, or does he still have unfinished business there? He has been keeping a close eye on Monica, who we can assume is his next target because of his failed attempt in the locker room during the black out.
GH’s Sabrina finds Dr. Quartermaine lying on the floor in her office. She calls for help, but is she too late? Is Monica Paul’s only intended target, or did Sabrina somehow get caught in the middle? Did Paul get the last person on his “hit list”, or do we still have to watch out for Elizabeth, who accidentally took a picture of the person who shoved her down the stairs?
