‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease the Tuesday, May 24 brings the start of the 2016 Nurses Ball which kicks off with red carpet drama, the return of Robin and Emma, a surprise pairing for the event, and an emergency that could derail a planned wedding. Here’s what to expect on the next GH.

We don’t know yet what she has planned, but GH spoilers hint that Dr Liesl Obrecht [Kathleen Gati] will disrupt the Nurses Ball once again this year. We can’t wait to see what she does. Will it be a show stopping number or sabotage – or perhaps both?

Red carpet action features Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] and Jason Morgan [Billy Miller] together but it looks like Jason and Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] will have a tense moment as they head into the Ball. Those two will never be BFFs…

Anna Devane [Finola Hughes] is seen walking the red carpet alone, but inside, she’s with Robin Scorpio [Kimberly McCullough] and Emma Drake [Brooklyn Rae Silzer]. Robin is slated to make a speech that portrayer McCullough told Soap Opera Digest got her “choked up” because of its intensity.

Ava Jerome [Maura West] wants Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin] to go with her and promises they’ll be the belles of the ball but since Kiki has been talking to Dillon Quartermaine [Robert Palmer Watkins] about a performance pairing, will Kiki go with a Q instead?

Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] is in no condition to attend the Ball so Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] presses Griffin Munro [Matt Cohen] to attend with her in a surprise pairing. We wonder if any of Nathan and Griffin’s shared secrets might come out…

Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] tells KABC reporter George Pennachio (playing himself) on the red carpet that “this year is better than ever” and Good Morning America reporter Abbie Boudreau also plays herself as a red carpet journalist.

There have been GH spoilers about Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] facing a public humiliation at the ball and it looks like she and Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] wear the same dress. Is that the extent of the embarrassment or is more in store?

Brad could not be more wrong! Lucas gets a call to return to GH for an emergency and he plans to head right back afterward. Lucas leaves a message for Brad that he’ll be back soon but then Lucas runs into someone who is up to no good and the groom may be in danger.
