‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Tracy Learns Paul’s Serial Killer Secret – Will He Murder His Ex-Wife To Keep Her Quiet?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that D.A. Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) is starting to really lose control this week.  He was on a mission to kill specific people, and now that fans know who the hospital serial killer is and who his last victim is, we are on our toes watching and waiting to see if he succeeds in killing GH’s beloved Dr. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson).  We are not entirely sure of his motives for the deaths of these specific people, but we do know that he is doing this for the “good of his daughter”.

The General Hospital killer gets side-tracked when he is caught by his ex-wife, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) trying to sneak up the stairs in the Quartermaine mansion.  Tracy claims she knows why he is there, and tells him that anyone who is not on the list, is not allowed to see her sister-in-law, Monica, and there is a guard stationed outside her bedroom door to ensure her safety.

Port Charles’ D.A. is starting to show signs of cracking.  He has made some major errors in his murder quest including knocking out Officer Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpy) to steal his cuff link back.  He pushed nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca “Becky” Herbst) down the GH stairs during the power outage, not realizing that she managed to take a picture on her phone of his shoes.

Then when his attempt to murder Monica was thwarted by the arrival of nurse Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo), he didn’t know what to do.  When Sabrina ran into Paul in the hallway of General Hospital, he wasn’t planning on killing her; but when he saw in her eyes that figured out who he was and what he was really doing there, he had no alternative.  He couldn’t let Sabrina live and ruin his plans to finish Monica off.

Being at the Quartermaine mansion and seeing all the pictures laid out for Sabrina’s funeral was more than Paul could handle and he is losing control.  For the first time, he is admitting to himself that he is a murderer; not that this is his first murder, it’s his first murder where he felt his victim didn’t deserve it!  But as Richard Burgi says, his character believes that: “sometimes civilians need to be taken down for the greater good.”  Do you believe in that?

At General Hospital’s Nurse Sabrina Santiago’s funeral, Paul stands in front of Sabrina’s picture and mutters an apology, which of course, is overheard by Tracy, who asks what he is sorry for.  To Tracy’s shock and to all the fans shock, Paul admits that he killed Sabrina!  Instead of going to the PCPD, Tracy explains that Paul meant something entirely different and gives him a way out of his spontaneous confession.

Regardless of Tracy explaining his way out of it, she has now become a liability to him.  She is his ex-wife and he once loved her, they share an adult son together, Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins); will he have the strength and courage to kill her?  The police are desperate to find justice for the murder of a young, single mother, who was a good woman.  The pressure is on, but Paul seems to be holding himself together fairly well on the outside, but as the saying goes… “It’s the quiet ones you need to watch out for!”
