‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Is Alexis On Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown, Mental State Compromise Case Against Julian?

‘General Hospital’ spoilers tease that in the coming weeks Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will continue to be haunted by her husband, Julian (William DeVry), she will continue to hear his voice telling her repeatedly that she still loves him despite the fact that Julian held a knife to her throat a few weeks ago and nearly murdered his own wife for wearing a wire in order to ensure her innocence. We know the last few weeks for Alexis has been very stressful.

General Hospital viewers watched as Julian murdered Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) and dumped his body in the harbor. Julian no doubt has shown a colder side of himself than ever before and to add insult to injury, Julian used the knife that Helena (Constance Towers) used to murder her own mother, so of course Alexis was going to have a strong reaction to her own husband using that same weapon on someone else to commit a cold blooded murder.

As of recent, Alexis has certainly been the talk of the town and not in a good way, starting with that nosy reporter from TMI that wanted to get a very unsavory story regarding her issues with Julian and of course that took a turn for the worst when he ended up getting that story thanks to Alexis’ outburst with her daughters with whom she was having dinner with at the MetroCourt.

In addition to that, Alexis is also dealing with the consequences of her actions in how she dealt with Julian in regards to Carlos’ murder, we saw Alexis go before the bar association which ended with them suspending her law license for one year. In addition, to her personal issues, her professional problems and her daughter, Kristina Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) who we saw come down hard on her mother for interfering in her relationship with her much older Professor, Parker Forsythe (Ashley Jones).

How much more can Alexis really take?  Is she headed for a complete mental breakdown? Those voices are certainly not a good sign. Could the pressure be taking it’s toll on Alexis? Will her unraveling mental state cause her testimony against Julian to be compromised? Perhaps, Julian will get off, if it is proven that Alexis is on the verge of a mental collapse which would make her testimony unreliable. Will Julian walk free?
