‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Video – Horrifying Prison Transport Accident – Nathan and Dante at Risk – Does Carlos Escape?

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers in a new May sweeps video shows that a terrible car accident leaves three lives at risk and it’s all happening on Monday, May 9. Here’s what you need to know about this potential tragedy as sweeps heat up.

The scene starts with Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] at the PCPD lockup telling Carlos Rivera [Jeffrey Vincent Parise] that he’s a dead man. Carlos looks terrified and screams for the guards – perhaps he thought Sonny might whack him on the spot.

Everything was looking up for Carlos since Julian Jerome [William deVry] had the witness against him whacked so there was a good chance the case against the Jerome hit man would be dismissed. Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] handcuffs Carlos and readies him for transport.

Perhaps they’re headed to the Port Chuck courthouse for the dismissal hearing… Wherever they are going, Nathan, Carlos and Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] are in an official SUV with another cop driving them transporting Carlos somewhere.

Carlos rants at them on the drive about being innocent until proven guilty and that’s when it happens. Another vehicle smashes into them and the SUV goes tumbling. GH spoilers have teased for a while that Carlos would make a jail break and this may be his opportunity.

Other spoilers that indicate lives are at risk in this horrific accident. Could Nathan or Dante wind up fighting for their lives? And was this accident no accident at all? Could Sonny have planned the crash to create an opportunity to kill Carlos?

If Sonny set this up, did he know that Nathan and Dante were along for the ride? Perhaps Sonny is not involved – despite the death threat – and this is truly just an accident. Either way, GH spoilers hint that Carlos will take this opportunity to run away.

Nathan and Dante will be taken to GH and at least one of the accident victims will be left fighting for their lives. Griffin Munro [Matt Cohen] should be on duty and we know he has a strange history with Nathan, so this will be interesting to watch as it plays out.

And if Sonny was involved in this accident, what will be the backlash against him? What do you think GH fans? Is this crash the result of Sonny making a move to take out Carlos and those hurt are unintentional collateral damage? Or is this just a freak accident that came after the death threat?
