‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday August 4: Spencer Gets A Family Visitor – Maxie Accuses Nathan Of Guilty Conscious – Morgan Surprises Nathan, She’s Shocked

Our favorite young man on General Hospital, Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Betchel), has a male visitor, who says he is family waiting to see him while he is getting ready to perform his act at the Summer camp; since he had left a couple messages on his father, Nikolas Cassadine’s (Tyler Christopher) voicemail, we are led to believe that the visitor could be Nikolas. For those who saw the August 3rd episode of GH, you will know that it was Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) who retrieved those messages.

Since we see Valentin is in Port Charles with Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford), it might be possible that one of his henchmen has come to take Spencer. After a spontaneous night of passion, Valentin (who is pretending to be Theo Hart) asks Nina if she is having second thoughts about the two of them. Do you think these two will end up becoming more than just a “one night stand”, or was it a one time occurrence since Nina is still reeling over her recent break up with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth)?

Beloved GH couple Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) have had a lot of issues recently with Nathan’s lies about Claudette “CJ” Boland (Bree Williamson). He first made Maxie believe that “Claudette” was his childhood pet, a French Poodle. It ended up that Claudette was actually his ex-wife. The trust level has been shattered, and for the first time in Maxie’s love life, she is NOT the one lying. She was having a very hard time with it but eventually forgave Nathan because she felt she was being a hypocrite to hold his past against him, when she has a pretty sordid past herself.

Just when things are back on track with these two lovebirds, Claudette arrives. Not only is she now in Port Charles, she is also working along side Maxie, at Crimson for Nathan’s sister, Nina. After a failed attempt to win Nathan back, Claudette visits Nathan at his and Maxie’s apartment and shatters their wedding photo in hopes of convincing him that she is over him and leaving town. Nathan, who is very naïve when it comes to relationships, takes Claudette at face value, and when her ride doesn’t show up to take her to the airport, he offers her a ride. True to soap opera drama, their car breaks down and they end up stranded, having to spend the night together in the car, after Claudette conveniently injures her ankle.

Maxie tells Claudette she is so “transparent”, even if Nathan doesn’t see it. Nathan wants to speed up the wedding and Maxie isn’t so sure. She feels that he wants to rush the wedding out of guilt. Is this the beginning of the end for Maxie and Nathan? To keep up the charade that she injured herself the previous night in the wilderness, she has to wait to see a doctor. Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) walks in the room, and has the shock of a lifetime. Claudette jumps off the table into his arms and says she cannot believe he is there. Now the question is whether Claudette will continue to cause problems for Maxie and Nathan, or will she pursue Griffin?

Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) surprises Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) with an apartment he found, with the help of real estate agent, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Kiki is taken aback by the surprise and ends up being flustered when Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins) arrives for his own meeting with Lucy and overhears that Morgan and Kiki are moving in together. With Morgan being so spontaneous, she can’t help but ask him if he is on his meds.
