‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday August 5: Helena Behind Kidney Transplant – Julian Wants Help Escaping – Alexis Warns Sam Cassadines Never Die

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for  Friday, August 5 tease that the dispute over searching for the mysterious kidney donor continues between Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Carly is sick of the fighting and tells Jax, they are on the same side! What we have been able to see thus far, is that Jax is deeply involved with the black-market purchase, but we are not sure who he is connected to. How long will it be before Carly finds out that Jax is somehow involved?

The nurse who was there during the transplant had identified Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) as the scary older woman who gave her the kidney. Does this mean Jax paid someone for Josslyn’s kidney or is his brother, Jerry Jax (Sebastian Roche) the one behind it all? At the mention of Helena’s name, you can’t help but wonder since Jerry and Helena were partners in crime at one time, including when they were holding Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) captive.

Even though he is behind bars, Julian Jerome (William DeVry) has no problems asking his sister Ava Jerome (Maura West) to help him escape. Is he determined to escape to make things right with his estranged wife, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) or is it mob related? Are you fans of Julexis? Do you think they can make it past this and reunite?

Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) had hired Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) on a few occasions to dig up information on someone she has viewed as an enemy. Curtis meets with Nina at the café, and hands her a paper saying he might have the answers she is looking for. Who is she investigating and what kind of information did Curtis find?

We know she originally was digging up dirt on Claudette but claimed she called off the investigation. Could she be investigating Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) or Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), after Franco left her to be with Liz? How about the man she recently has a one-night-stand with, maybe she wants to know more about the handsome stranger, “Theo Hart” (James Patrick Stuart)? Will she find out that he is actually Valentin Cassadine?

Even though Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) is innocent of the murder charges against him, Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) seems determined to put him behind bars and promises to do so the second she gets back in town. At the same time, Alexis is warning Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) that Cassadines do not die; they rise from the ashes!!

Finally, we see the person who came to see Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) perform at his summer camp; it is his Uncle Sonny (Maurice Benard). At least that is a relief for fans thinking that Spencer was about to be kidnapped. But, is his Uncle Sonny there to deliver the bad news that his father, Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) is really dead this time?
