‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Franco Gives Nina A Baby – Not The Kind She Expected, NiCo Break-up Looms

“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers confirm a sweet bundle of joy is on the way for Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Franco (Roger Howarth). According to Soap Opera Digest, however, fans should put their dreams of a NiCo baby to rest because this sweetie is a puppy.

It looks like the road ahead as a couple for Nina and Franco is officially rocky. When it was confirmed Nina could not have children, she immediately resented Franco and his adamant refusal to have kids. During the argument, Franco spilled the beans… he already had a child in Kiki (Hayley Erin), he didn’t need, nor want, another.

After Nina storms off, it looks like a well-intentioned Franco decides to take Dr. Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) advice and find a way to give Nina the baby she so desperately wants. With limited options, what better replacement baby than mans’ best friend? Unfortunately, Nina doesn’t agree.

This innocent decision will backfire on Franco, leaving the couple further apart than ever. Nina is appalled by the gesture and makes sure Franco knows it. How long will Franco continue to try and console Nina regarding a baby that he never even wanted?

Spoilers tease Franco will not be continuing his sweet ways. Apparently, enough is enough and this puppy fiasco will lead him face to face with an unexpected person. Could this person be Jason? Will Franco finally have to pay for his past and be forced to the dark side once again? Who ever it is, they do not bring out the best in Franco.  Speculation is not certain who this counterpart will be but it does suggest when Nina is ready for forgiveness, Franco isn’t there waiting.
