‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Can Scotty Save Ava? Former DA Moves In With Lady Mob Boss To Protect Her

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome [Maura West] will turn to an unlikely person to help her with her latest mob crisis in coming days. Looks like Scotty Baldwin [Kin Shriner] will step up for Ava in a big way very soon.

Ava is scared to death ever since that black rose showed up at the hospital addressed to Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin] with the ominous note. Of course, we all know that Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] is behind the threat and there is really no threat at all.

Julian Jerome [William deVry] just volunteered to talk to the Jerome mob lieutenants on Ava’s behalf and she was thrilled, but will Julian now have to tell Ava he can’t do it? Remember at the Lomax lawsuit that Mayor Lomax [Shari Belafonte] threatened Julian?

Lomax told him they would be watching him and if he steps out of line, it’s trouble. That means if Julian tries to go to a mob meet, he could be nailed if he’s being surveilled by cops. Will Julian risk his future like that? Probably not. So Ava will have to figure out something else.

GH spoilers reveal she will turn to her lawyer Scotty for a shoulder to cry on and he’ll step up to protect her. Wonder what that will lead to? Now that Ava is done with Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi], she needs someone to warm her bed.

Will Scotty be her next conquest? Spoilers tease that Scotty will soon move in with Ava to be her 24/7 watchdog. Wonder if he volunteers or she talks him into it? And why would Scotty put himself in harm’s way like this? There must be something in it for him.

Perhaps Ava is paying him his hourly lawyer rate to sit on her couch and keep her company. And with Scotty moving in, will Ava go back to Sonny and demand that he give Avery back to her? That’s the whole point of Sonny’s ruse – to keep Avery.

Sonny is so confident this will work that he told Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] that Avery is with them for good. But how long will it be until Ava figures out the Jerome mobsters are not after her? And when she does force Sonny’s hand, what can he do about it?

Sonny can’t play the mobster card since Paul covered Ava and made it look like she was a CI. How long until Sonny’s thin plan is exposed? All it takes is Ava running into one of the Jerome mobsters and it’s game over when they have no idea what she’s talking about.

But, in the meantime, Ava’s fears will create a great storyline that puts Scotty into her orbit and offers lots of opportunity for those two to explore the chemistry we saw between them back during the custody trial.
