‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Can Laura forgive Kevin For His betrayal? Is There Still Hope For Kevin and Laura Coupling?

‘General Hospital’ spoilers tease that in the coming weeks Laura (Genie Francis) will continue to struggle with her feelings for Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) regarding his recent betrayal.  As GH viewers saw last week, Laura and Kevin finally took that next step and spent the night together and their afterglow was certainly something fans of this couple have been waiting to see for such a long time.

Laura and Kevin’s relationship suddenly hit a serious snag when Laura found a book in which Kevin was writing and planning to publish which seemed to focus on Laura and her life, including her past issues with mental illness. This is certainly not something we expected to see from Kevin. Laura was extremely hurt by Kevin’s betrayal and of course confronted him last week, in which, we saw Laura walk out on him. She obviously could not get past this. Is there still hope for this new couple or are they over before they even really got started? Will Kevin stick it out and try to win Laura back or turn to Lucy? Could Laura be exaggerating? Could this book that Kevin is writing be for mental health as he is a medical professional or does he have a secret agenda?

Since Laura and Kevin’s time on Cassadine Island, they have been really connecting it seems, as acquaintances, friends and now as lovers. There is no doubt some deep connection brewing between these two. We know Lucy will attempt to take advantage of this unfortunate situation. Will Lucy convince Laura that Kevin is up to no good or downplay his motives and assure her that his intentions were simply pure and not meant to hurt her? We know Lucy is not exactly supporting them as a couple since she discovered that Kevin was developing real feelings for Laura that day in the hospital after Kevin was shot.

Lucy accused him of “falling in love” with Laura, in which he denied but obviously he is feeling something for Laura. Could Lucy be right about this couple? Are they doomed right from the start? Perhaps, Helena put a curse on Laura even from beyond the grave that Laura is doomed to fail with anyone. Can this new couple overcome this obstacle? What do you think General Hospital fans?
