‘General Hospital’ Poll: Who Is The Dirtiest Port Charles Mobster, Sonny Corinthos Or Julian Jerome? VOTE!

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that the delicate peace between Port Charles’s rival mob bosses is soon to come to an end. What will be the next move between Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Julian (William deVry)? Well that depends on who makes the move. Though these men share the same profession, their m.o. is historically totally different.
Julian Jerome is known to run his mob life incognito. His return to the mob after years in witness protection began while masquerading around town as the upstanding businessman, Derek Wells. From day one of his return, Julian didn’t hesitate to use the muscle that came with his family name. The Jerome Family. He was set on reviving the power that once belonged to the name.

Sonny, on the other hand, is the founding person behind the Corinthos Organization. Looking to remove himself from his family, including his father and step-father, he worked through the organization ranks, devouring every player in his way, until he was they only one left standing.
With Sonny in firm control of the Port Charles territory, Julian is constantly forced to get down and dirty. There doesn’t seem to be a person; family, friend or foe, exempt from the fallout of his actions. Sister Ava (Maura West) has been alienated and threatened repeatedly, grandson Danny has been used as a pawn for protection against Sonny, and many secrets loom within the relationship between him and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), his rekindled love. Everyone is a potential shield in Julian’s war to protect himself.
Sonny’s ruthless actions also have no limits. He holds a fierce, unwavering drive to track every person who has harmed himself or his family. He is unforgiving and often acts before considering the consequence of his decisions. Numerous times innocent casualties have resulted from his actions; leaving wives, children and friends to suffer.
There is no doubt surviving the mob world in Port Charles requires many immoral actions but which mob boss is the dirtiest. Does Julian’s unrelenting willingness to hide behind his family qualify or does Sonny’s civilian causalities alone take the honor?

While both Sonny and Julian are in the MOB, I believe that Julian is truly the most evil of the two of them. Julian is not one to turn his back on gun running, smuggling, stolen property, it does not matter. Sonny refuses to deal in either drugs or guns and therefore is known as a “softer” mobster IMO. Sonny has “cleaned” up Post Charles from the money laundering, gun dealing, drug dealing days of the Alcazar, Jerome, Smith, and Johnny’s dad (can’t remember his name) MOBSTERS that did have presence there as well as the Asian families that have tried to move in several times with no success thus far. Keep Sonny, get rid of the rest as far as I am concerned.
