‘General Hospital’ POLL: What Man Does Laura Belong With? Luke or Kevin? VOTE!

Once upon a time a young pretty girl named Laura (Genie Francis) fell in love with a bad boy named Luke Spencer (Tony Geary). Their love was not your typical fairy tale romance; it was filled with Adventure, danger and intrigue. They travelled all over the globe while being chased by the notorious gangster Frank Smith and evading the evil Helena Cassadine. They raised their son Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) while on the run and eventually came back to Port Charles to settle down. Despite all of this, we all know the romance did not have a happy ending.

In later years, Luke would go on to marry Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Laura would suffer a mental collapse and return to her first husband Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Despite the turmoil, Laura would always hold a special place in her heart for Luke, and I think she will always see herself as Laura Spencer.

Fast forward to the present, Laura has been alone for a long time until she becomes friends with” Doc” Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). A budding romance seemed to develop as the two embark on a quest to discover clues left in a book given to her by the late Helena Cassadine. Kevin is solid and strong. He is not dangerous or mysterious and the only real adventure he can offer Laura can be found in his video games. Still, they became close and made love when they returned from Cassidine Island where Kevin followed Laura and took a bullet to save her life. Some might even say they make a cute couple.

It appears however, Laura may have second thoughts about a relationship and may not be ready to give herself to “Doc” Collins after all. After discovering Kevin was writing a book about her, Laura abruptly ended their one-night romance and flew off to France with her grandson Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel).

When she returns, Laura will have to make a decision. Is Kevin the man for her, or will Luke be her one and only knight in shining armor? What do you think? Should Laura give Kevin a try or is Luke the only man for her? Please vote in our poll.
