‘General Hospital’ News: Tequan Richmond Back To ‘GH,’ TJ Ashford Home For The Holidays

Thanksgiving is a time for families to come together and that’s exactly what fans can expect this week on “General Hospital.” No, I’m not talking about the annual Quartermaine pizza fest, I’m referring to the infrequently seen Ashford family.

That’s right folks, it looks like favorite son TJ (Tequan Richmond) and his mom Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) are set to enjoy a little family time. There’s no word yet on what brings TJ back to Port Charles, but he’ll encounter lots of drama once he hits his old stomping grounds!

Right now his mom is up to her ears in both professional and personal chaos. Singleton Jordan has never had what you’d call a serene existence on GH. As head of the Port Charles Police Department she’s always embroiled in the latest turmoil engulfing the town.

Luckily for her, TJ has always been a level-headed presence in her life, even though he’s just a kid! How did the double-agent, master of intrigue manage to raise such a mature son given all that he’s been through in his young life?

It’s a credit to TJ that he’s so grounded. Maybe he’s in town to dispense a little holiday advice to his mom on her love life. Jordan is flirting again with her former flame, bad-boy Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) even though she has a steady thing going with the town’s upstanding shrink.

Then again, TJ might arrive with vital information on the explosive Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) murder mystery. GH fans last saw TJ in October, when he had a fateful encounter with Morgan prior to his fiery demise.

Could TJ know more about this tragedy than even he realizes? Since he was one of the last people to talk to Morgan, he may drop an information bomb that no one saw coming!

Stay tuned GH fans, TJ’s homecoming will surprise his mom, maybe in more ways than one!
