‘General Hospital’ News: Rick Hearst Headed To “The Vampire Diaries”

‘General Hospital’ actor Rick Hearst [Ric Lansing] has booked his next gig. According to him via his Twitter account, he has booked a role in CW’S ‘The Vampire Diaries’. “So stoked! Just booked an episode of #vampirediaries. Will there be blood? Wait and see…” he tweeted.

Hearst remains as a recurring player on ‘General Hospital’ fans who love him can gear up to see his appearance in the eight season if ‘The vampire Diaries’. The series is said to be it’s final season when it returns for its eighth one.

Hearst did not give any additional details on the role he will play. But his tweet has left fans craving the return of the popular series. His tweet posed the question “Will there be blood?’ Wait in see!” Do you think this is an indication as to what sort of character he will play?

Hearst just brought back his character Ric for a brief Port Charles appearance. Yes, he remains recurring but spoilers tease he still has unresolved feelings for Elizabeth [Rebecca Herbst]. Could there be a triangle in the making which involves Elizabeth, Ric and Franco [Roger Howarth]? Could Ric possibly find another love, maybe rekindle his love with Alexis [Nancy Lee Grahn].

Hearst surely keeps his fan talking not just about his acting gigs but also with his personal life. He is now sporting a new hair color, grey and this has left his fans pondering whether his new color suits him better than black.
