‘General Hospital’ News: Nicolas Bechtel Joins Cast Of ‘The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story’

“General Hospital” alums are making the news this week! Today, via Soaps.com, we find that our dashing, pint-sized Prince, Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) has been cast in the role of “Young Rob Kardashian” in the upcoming FX’s, “The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.”

The upcoming docudrama will be a 10 episode series, and is sent to premiere February 2, 2016 at 10 p.m. and will feature a number of big name stars in leading roles. Once again, the drama comes to life and familiar names come back to the forefront of our memories as we see OJ’s “dream-team” in action.

We see these favorites, just to name a few, portraying the following roles:

• “Friends” David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian
• “Legally Blonde” Selma Blair as Kris (Kardashian) Jenner
• “Jerry Maguire” Cuba Gooding, Jr. as O.J. Simpson
• “Bridge of Spies” Billy Magnussen as Kato Kaelin
• “American Horror Story” Sarah Paulson as D.A. Marcia Clark
• “Grease” / “Saturday Night Fever” John Travolta as Robert Shapiro
• “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” Courtney B. Vance as Johnnie Cochran
• “The Birdcage” Nathan Lane as F. Lee Bailey
• “The Wolf of Wall Street” Kenneth Choi as Judge Lance Ito

Once again, just as the nation was in 1995, be prepared to be riveted to our seats as these actors bring the events, and the grizzly aftermath, out of the annals of history and back into the spotlight and the light of day. Relive the scenes of the White Ford Bronco being followed by a formation of LAPD squad cars down the LA freeway; and once more we’ll watch, semi-fascinated, as O.J. tries on the “glove that won’t fit”.

The show is, as we know, inspired by the true-life events that led to O.J. Simpson’s arrest and subsequent trial for the murders of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and also of Ronald Goldman, and the trial that held America captive for over 135 long and grueling days.
