‘General Hospital’ News: Nick Stabile Addresses Fans Request To Come Back To GH

‘General Hospital’ (GH) has been the hot topic of conversation on social media since the latest casting buzz was released this week. With Teresa Castillo’s exit as Sabrina Santiago, Bryan Craig announcing he is leaving his Emmy winning role as Morgan Corinthos and Tyler Christopher not returning as Nikolas Cassadine, things were really sad for viewers.

Upon learning that Christopher will not return to his Emmy Wining role after walking away with the 2016 Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor it was like an automatic reflex action for fans to reach out to Nick Stabile. Although there has been a few faces in the role of Nikolas Cassadine, Stabile was the most recent and the one that really stood out.

Stabile replaced Christopher for a number of weeks earlier this year when the actor reportedly took a temporary break from the ABC sudser. Later, Christopher revealed at a fan event that he would be returning to the set come September however the latest reports suggest that due to trouble in reaching a contract agreement Christopher will not be returning.

Regardless of wanting Christopher back this did not stop fans from taking to Twitter to reach out to his temporary replacement Nick Stabile to request him back on the show. Honestly Stabile’s returning solely lies in the hands of the powers that be ABC at the moment. Stabile in response to fans suggest shared he is open to return to ‘General Hospital’. He also expressed gratitude to the fans by sharing “Thank you everyone for all the support. I really, really appreciate the kind words. I’m truly touched.”

At this point as far we know the show has no plans  to recast the role but should they choose Stabile he is perfect fit don’t you agree fans?
