‘General Hospital’ News: Michael Easton And ‘OLTL’ Alum Trevor St. John Join Forces On New Film ‘Dreamliner’

“General Hospital” viewers are eagerly awaiting Michael Easton’s return after his former character Dr. Silas Clay was killed off. The actor has been busy during his hiatus from the daytime drama. Easton has written and directed the short film “Dreamliner.”

The movie stars Trevor St. John [ex-Todd Manning] from the now defunct “One Live to Live.” Trevor is listed as a producer, along with Michael, of the movie as well. This is the first time the former “OLTL” co-stars will have worked together since the ABC soap opera’s cancellation.

Michael made the announcement on his Facebook page, “COMING SOON: DREAMLINER starring Trevor St John. Written and directed by Michael Easton.” A jet plane is the photo that accompanies the announcement.
So far St. John is the only cast member of “Dreamliner” listed on IMDb. Described as a thriller, the synopsis of the short film reads, “A husband believes his wife was on a plane that crashed.” Trevor portrays the character Clay Spencer. Is that a nod to Michael Easton’s “GH” character Silas Clay?

“General Hospital” fans commented on Michael’s Facebook announcement with excitement. “GH” and “OLTL” fans are very pleased that the actors are working together again.

At this time no release date or additional information available for “Dreamliner.” Soap Opera Spy will keep you updated as soon as we know more about the short film. In the meantime “General Hospital” fans can’t wait for Easton to return to Port Charles.

Trevor St. John will also be back on television soon. The first season of the CW series “Containment” premieres on April 19 at 9pm ET/8pm CT. Trevor will guest star as a character named Leo. No word yet on whether or not St. John will join the drama as a permanent cast member.
