‘General Hospital’ News: Kirsten Storms And Brandon Barash Divorce – Real Life ‘GH’ Couple Break-Up

Here’s a shocker – General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms and Brandon Barash have decided to get a divorce. The two played co-stars for many years before tying the knot back in June, 2013. Kirsten currently plays the part of Maxie Jones, and Brandon is know for his role as Johnny Zacchara.
“We are splitting due to the cliché irreconcilable differences, but we’re splitting amicably,” Barash shares according to Soap Opera Digest. In the discussion Barash emphasized that though they have decided to go their separate ways their daughter Harper, who is now 2 years old, is their first priority.

Storms and Barash are adamant that they intend to keep their co-parenting skills very successful. They want to remain a family in spite of what they’ve been through that lead to this difficult decision. We all know that relationships are hard, it gets rough sometimes and this seems to be the case for this young and wonderful couple. According to SOD the couple shared that they did not just decide to get divorced due to their problems but they sought professional assistance first.
Barash stated “This was not a hasty decision; a lot of thought and therapy went into this.” So therefore these two seem to have tried every means possible to work things out, however their methods proved unsuccessful. Kirsten Storms in the discussion highlighted the fact that they went to therapy sessions for an extended period. They tried everything to figure out a way to work things out. According to them there is no dislike between them but the end result is they believe raising their young daughter in separate homes would be best.

In conclusion, Storms again emphasized that there is no bad blood between the two of them their decision was mutual and they are doing what they think is best for themselves and Harper. So what do you think of this GH fans?

3 whole years of marriage AND marriage therapy and they have “tried everything?” Please. Divorce is the easier choice at the time, but it’s NEVER easy long-term. To those of us in the trenches, this is almost amusing to read. Three years, start to finish is NOTHING in the scheme of things!
She’s single now, nice i have a chance lol. On a more serious note, its what i tell alot of folks in Hollywood, stop messing around with other actors, actresses, deal with people outside the business. Sadly most do not listen.
So sorry to hear it. They really seemed to work but I give them a lot of credit for trying to work it out extensively as lots of couples don’t. They have their daughter as their number 1 priority and its so important to get along for the sake of their young daughter who won’t understand. I wish both the best of last c’mon.
This is sad. I hope they can work it out but if not then I wish them happiness & peace. People don’t understand that sometimes love just isn’t enough to make a marriage work.
Really sad. I hung in seventeen years but ended up divorced….it’s not best for the kid. My parents divorced when I was 7 and it’s very hard going between parents.
It’s hard, but I would have been even more miserable and so would my parents if they had stayed together. Sometimes it is best to divorce.

This is so sad. Especially with a young child in the mix. They always look so happy in their pics on FB! I hope they can work it out. Three years is so little time to give up. Marriage is not easy, it is a lot or work and sacrifice. I don’t know the details, but I hope they work a little harder and remember why they got married in the first place.
