Former ‘General Hospital’ Star Nathan Parsons has scored the leading role in the indie western film called ‘Justice’. Parsons, who is well known for playing the role of Ethan Lovett on GH, will portray Marshal James McCord.
Soaps.com reports that “the film is set in 1868 and centers on an old abandoned mine that is being transformed into a military stronghold by its corrupt Mayor Pierce (Stephen Lang, “Avatar”) and a band of outlaws hell-bent on re-energizing the just-ended Civil War”.
The film is written by Shawn Justice and John Lewis. It is directed by Richard Gabai and also stars former ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ actress Lesley-Anne Down (Jacqueline Marone), Robert Carradine, Ellen Hollman, Quinton Aaron, Stephen Lang, Jamie Lynn Sigler from ‘The Sopranos’, Chris Ranney, Sam Quinn, Christopher Hagen, John Lewis, Eric Martinez, Stephanie Styles and Boots Southerland.
The role Parsons plays, James, comes to town and later gets tied up solving a major mystery. Upon his arrival in town he learns his brother Thomas played by Jackson Rathbone was murdered and begins a search to find the killer.
‘Justice’ is presently still in post-production stages and a release date is yet to be announced. From the description however and from the few pictures Parson shared on twitter, the film seems quite interesting.
