‘General Hospital’ News: Brytni Sarpy To Host New Reality Series ‘The Pitch Room’

Over the weekend Brytni Sarpy (Valerie) celebrated her first anniversary on General Hospital upon debuting in the role this time last year. While she is celebrating this milestone, the classically trained actress is slated to host the upcoming reality television series named ‘The Pitch Room.’ According to the report released on the official Box Office website, she was named to the board for this Box Office Pilot and was chosen as the host.

The Pitch Room is said to be a weekly series. It will air for one hour each week and was filmed on a studio set. This show is about filmmakers who will submit their projects to a panel of professionals including television agents, executives, directors, distributors, actors, producers and critics. The panel members are scheduled to pose questions, critiques and comments on the filmmakers work. Persons who interested in being a part of this upcoming series and project can apply through the Box Office website. This will be a fun show to watch Sarpy host and see her outside of the GH scenes.

Did you know that in her line of career, before successfully being chosen for the role of Valerie Spencer on GH, she auditioned for roles on ‘Days of Our Lives?’ She also auditioned for the role of Jordan Ashford on General Hospital but was too young for the role and Taylor DuBois in which she was too old. Aside from her acting career, she is also a trained dancer, sure would be fun to see her on a season of ‘Dancing with the Stars.’  Sarpy also has done commercial and print work in the past.
