Bryan Craig tells Soap Opera Digest exclusively that he made the decision to leave GH as Morgan after a three-and-a-half-year run in order to make himself available for other projects. He explains that it is really hard to schedule anything when you’re at GH under contract. It was not a very easy decision for Bryan to make, he actually dwelled on it for some time and sought advice from close family and friends on what he should do.
Bryan Craig also revealed that Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) was a big supporter of him going out there and doing his own thing. Bryan Craig is already working on other projects and doing great for himself, which is definitely good news. He is certainly going to be missed on GH and we want nothing but the best for him. It’s awesome that he is branching out and doing new things.
The events that have been taking place on General Hospital surrounding Morgan’s death have made for some powerful scenes. Fans have been drawn into their TV screens since the moment of Craig’s final episodes.
Bryan also reveals that he has never regretted his decision. He explained “I kind of do things and don’t think about them afterwards; I’m kind of like that with everything!” It’s great that we will still be able to catch Bryan Craig in his new projects. He recently announced he was going to be in a movie called “Ride.” So, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for it, although no air date has yet been revealed.
