‘General Hospital’ News: Alum Jonathan Jackson Thanks Fans In Video Message For Helping Save ‘Nashville’ – Watch It Here!

‘General Hospital’ alum Jonathan Jackson (Lucky Spencer) took to Twitter today to thanks his fans for helping the primetime series he appears on get “saved” and renewed for a Season 5. As you all now, Jackson plays the part of country music singing sensation Avery on the primetime drama. After four seasons, ABC cancelled the drama. However, dedicated fans campaigned (and very successfully) to save the series. Today, news was confirmed that CMT had picked up the drama and Nashville would live on. New episodes will also be aired on internet streaming service Hulu.

Jonathan Jackson doesn’t spend a whole lot of time on social media, today ‘General Hospital‘ fans were thrilled to see the former soap star upload a personal video thanking his followers and fans for helping to save ‘Nashville.’ The video was shot outside, in a beautiful and scenic area. A very grateful Jackson talks in to the camera, “Nashville is back, thanks to all the Nashies out there! God bless!”

There were some rumors floating around that Jonathan Jackson may return to ‘GH‘ as Lucky Spencer, after his primetime gig was canceled by ABC. But, now that ‘Nashville‘ will be moving on to CMT, it’s safe to say that Jonathan will be busy.
